Ombre stripes
This 1950s design, typical of the 20th century, comes from England and was discovered at the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester. It consists of a series of fine, solid white stripes on a matte background. Visually, the space between the stripes creates a gentle movement. The more complex striped variants include three additional background colors, while the simpler versions are made in matching colors specifically coordinated with the different stripe elements. This makes these wallpapers extremely flexible and can be combined beautifully in both traditional and contemporary homes.
